With thirty years of industry experience in the New York and Florida markets, Premier’s CEO Carolyn Block-Ellert has a roster of clients spanning every facet of the condominium and resort-residential development space.

Our Story

Premier was formed in 2000 by current owner and Chief Executive Officer Carolyn Block Ellert and Laurie Ingber, both veterans of the highly competitive New York City residential brokerage market. After working her way into management of sales teams for several prominent New York properties, Block-Ellert was recruited by New York’s prestigious Sunshine Group as Director of Sales, and in a pioneering move of its day, became Broker-of-Record for Florida, relocating to Miami in 1993 to open its Florida division.

Block-Ellert, with Sunshine Group colleague Ingber, pushed the envelope of South Florida luxury real estate sales by identifying new markets, creating niches, and ultimately creating a cost-effective marketing strategy for a host of forward-thinking clients. They headed sales and marketing for various prestigious developments such as Il Lugano in Palm Beach (Ceebraid Signal Corp.), The Resort Residences at the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne (Carnival Resorts), and The Gables Club in Coral Gables (M. Kovens Development).

Premier was launched by the duo to offer more highly personalized Florida-centric client and project. Looking to pursue other interests after a successful 18-year partnership, in late 2018 Block-Ellert acquired control of Premier, sharpening its focus on successfully planning and executing sales driven strategies for its clients.
