Celebrated leadership expert John Maxwell has purchased a condo unit on the ocean in Palm Beach County.
The $4.15 million buy at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Singer Island landed the speaker, coach and author an eighth-floor property with some 7,445 square feet of interior space.
It’s one of only six tower suites in the 8.8-acre oceanfront development, said Carolyn Block-Ellert, co-owner of Premier Sales Group, which handles sales of the property.
“What came first – Ritz or beach? Both. If it wasn’t the Ritz, it might not have happened,” Block-Ellert said. Her company took over sales and marketing for Ritz-Carlton in late 2010. It was formerly 2700 North Ocean before Lionheart Capital came in last year with Ritz-Carlton in tow.
To date, they’ve sold some $65 million in units, she said. What remains are about 45 percent of the units, including one tower suite.
Maxwell’s suite comes decorator ready. It has flooring, some “extraordinary” finishes and unmatched views and perspectives, Block-Ellert said.
“I’m sure he’ll spend some time finishing it out,” she said. “Everybody has their own story.”
Others have stories to tell, as the Ritz-Carlton property is just one of several making news recently. Two Miami-Dade County residences have hit the market with ultra-luxury price tags.
In The Gables Club at Gables Estates, a 13,853-square-foot property at 650 Casuarina Concourse offers eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms – and an asking price of $15 million.
It boasts sloping lawns and mature palms on two waterfront acres on a lagoon with space for a 100-foot yacht. The home has twin marble staircases, double height entertaining areas and window walls overlooking the lagoon. It also features a wine cellar, his-and-her offices, and guest house and recessed poolside bar. The listing agent is Jeanne Nicastri with Coldwell Banker.
On Miami Beach, Pietro Belmonte with Douglas Elliman Florida has listed 5203 Fisher Island Drive. The penthouse residence features 9,570 square feet – and a listing price of $9.75 million. It has five bedrooms, a great room, gourmet kitchen, three fireplaces and full bar, and expansive wraparound terraces with panoramic views of the bay and city skyline. A separate in-law or staff apartment comes complete with its own family room, full kitchen and sleeping quarters.
Amenity rich, the home also comes with five parking spaces, two golf cart spaces and two large air-conditioned storage rooms.
